Sorry, I'm a complete idiot, I should have been looking at the DOM pages, not DOM XML! There is nothing to see here, move along please. Since the PHP manual overhaul I've noticed that the names for DOM XML methods appear as underscored_names, rather than CamelCase. eg: DOMDocument->create_element() should be: DOMDocument->createElement()!
