I'd like to borrow some documentation from the SVN Book
<http://svnbook.red-bean.com/en/1.2/index.html>, which is licensed
under
the Creative Commons Attribution License for the PHP documentation.
Two
questions:
1. Is CC-By compatible with the PHP documentation license?
2. Where would the attribution go?
If I can't use the book's contents, no problem, I'll just supply my
own
rough descriptions of the functions.
I don't think it's necessary to copy their documentation, it
would be preferred if you inserted your own knowledge into
the PHP documentation.
And in theory we are not teaching people how to use SVN but
rather how to use the API so in this case being "rough" is
not bad. If you feel it would be useful, consider linking
some functions to SVN manual/book pages for further reading
on the given topics. And to that book in the reference file.
