I volunteered to help with documenting an extension still in cvs.

However, I've spent a day so far just trying to get the tools going.

I know PHP pretty well, develop code using a good Windows based editor and run it on Linux shared hosts.

So far, I can use TortoiseCVS to load my sandbox. That's fine.

I've loaded and fiddled with XML Copy Editor. However, it doesn't like DocBook's language. Fusses about errors. I've tried to find a good DocBook editor; but, it appears that most of the tools are Linux. Need a recommendation for a Windows DocBook editor.

Next, I'd like to be able to see the html results. Firefox did have DocBook add-on; but, it's obsolete for new Firefox versions. What can I use to view the rendered version of my work without making a big deal out of it?

Thanks.....
