That doesn't sound too difficult. Perhaps one issue would be
case-sensitivity, but since we exert a high degree of control over the
source XML documents, making it case-sensitive shouldn't be an issue
(just be sure that the casing we choose reflects the underlying PHP
sources).

No, I mean PHP 5.3 namespaces! :-) Eventually, I'd imagine some
extensions will start using them.
