I know the docs don't validate at the moment, but that has nothing to
do with the spl docs.
You probably need to run ./configure again.
I did, a lot of times. Got:
Created file: entities/missing-entities.ent
* <!ENTITY reference.spl.arrayiterator.entities "???">
and so on with a lot of SPL stuff and make .manual.xml doesn't work. If
I remove SPL from manual.xml.in everything builds fine.
