Greetings Yago,

Please write [email protected] about this, because although the translation
is dead, there was some discussion this past September there. Perhaps it
stemmed from the conversation you guys had at the conference? But I don't think
any translation work came from it.

I think it'd work best if you started work before asking for an account, so the
world sees you are serious. Typically people send patches but for translations
it works best to send a few newly translated files.

It appears doc/es does not build today, and it contains a lot of old (several
years) files that are probably not worth keeping. However, several are
up-to-date (likely from the older not-so-popular extensions) so we can probably
keep those. Summary: Do not be afraid to delete and start over with most XML
files because they are so old.

And for reference, there was some effort put into moving to PO (gettext) files
but it essentially stalled and possibly failed. Transifex won't work for such
large projects, and the current Pootle either (but we'll be testing the Pootle
rewrite, which is in beta now...) but I just wanted to let you know. It's not
worth waiting for, as a lot of effort is/will be put into converting from
current XML to PO if/when we do that.

Regards,
Philip

P.S. Hi Scott :)
