This syntax was not trivial to figure out. I have both hand-checked it working and read ZEND_VM_HANDLER(106, ZEND_SEND_VAR_NO_REF, VAR|CV, ANY) and I think I found code there that handles this special case so I believe the docs is correct. Regards NK
