[PHP-DOC] $Revision comment

Hi!
I'm working on the Romanian translation.
I noticed that many files contain comments like this one:

<!-- $Revision: 314062 $ -->

As I understand they were used with CVS. Are they still needed? Is it
ok if I remove them?
