Thanks for the tip. I will see what I can do server side too. The Spam
is being caused as non subscribers can post to the list now, which
allows forum users to post to our lists without having to subscribe.
I have discussed spam with the gnu sysadmins who maintain the
lists.gnu.org box and they have indicated that they are currently in the
planning stages of a major overhaul of their mail infrastructure which
should help reduce the amount of spam which makes it onto the lists and
stop us being blacklisted.
I have been pretty proactive in deleting spam on the forum, but if you
see some, please report it to a moderator :)
