I've imported a 1000+ address collection in addressbook, froma local 'database' (an excel file) last year.
Now the phone helpdesk staff start to use it, but edit data are rather 'unusable' for slowness... particulary, if you set the 'max number of address to display' to something high (50/100) the address list page took 5/10 seconds to display. So you click on view/modify link, do whatever you want, exit from there, wait, wait, wait ... I'm using debian sarge with postgres backend, there's something i can do to improve addessbook performance? Thanks. -- dott.
