Hello,

I go in phpldapadmin to "ou=People,dc=schule,dc=de" and click at "New
entry". Now I click at "Generic: User Account" and install the new entry
"cn=Max Meier,ou=People,dc=schule,dc=de". UserID ist "mmeier".

Now I go to "ou=linux,dc=schule,dc=de" and click at "New entry" and then
"Generic: LDAP Alias". In the first line (UserID) I enter "mmeier" , in the
second line (AliasTo) I enter "cn=Max Meier,ou=People,dc=schule,dc=de".
After "return" I get the error message "Attribute value would not be
unique". After clicking at "search for the offending entry" it shows 1
entry, namely "cn=Max Meier,ou=People,dc=schule,dc=de".

I understand, that the attribute "uid=mmeier" ist double, but this happens
in an other branch and I don't know why this could be a problem.

If I use ldapadd, there is no problem to produce the alias.

Greetings
Ralph
