Howdy! I am in the process of migrating from my Solaris Sun One DS to
Fedora DS running phplapadmin. I would appreciate any guidance you might
have regarding my inability to modify records through phpldapadmin. I have
searched the web and reviewed the phpldapadmin docs and I am still a bit
confused.
When I attempt to modify an attribute I receive the below error.
Could not perform ldap_modify operation.*LDAP said*:Insufficient access*Error
number*:0x32 (LDAP_INSUFFICIENT_ACCESS)*Description*:You do not have
sufficient permissions to perform that operation.
How do I overcome this? Do I need to hard code admin credentials in the
config.php file to allow changes? I am currently connecting as my user
account with LDAP admin privileges.
The LDAP admins at my work have a unique LDAP attribute associated with our
accounts that allows full access using home grown scripts to make changes
on the Sun One DS server. If possible, I would like the same level of
control with phpldapadmin. Is this possible with phplapadmin? If yes, any
suggestions on how to achieve this?
Thank you in advance for your time and assistance.
Tom
