I'm brazilian and in my language (portuguese - br) have several
special characteres (ã, é, í, ó, ú, ç... etc), but PHPTAL is not
working fine about it. An example:
If i try to use de word "Descrição", PHPTAL hides it
If you put this in a template:
${php:urlencode('çã')}
Does it print %C3%A7%C3%A3?
Also please try PHPTAL 1.2 beta – it has improved support for
character encodings and should report some errors:
