Excellent work Benjamin! I enhanced the patch a bit:
1) Made WrappedIOException take throwable
2) Found more places where it could be used
3) Made DataStorageException extend IOException so we can skip wrapping in a
few cases
Alan or Olga can you review so that we can get this committed?
