Amir,

I have a perl script that I use to generate data for pig testing.  It can 
generate different types of data and different sizes.  For a given type and 
size, it always produces the same set.  However, for data of the same type and 
different sizes, the smaller is not a subset of the larger.  This allows it to 
produce good data for testing joins.  If you're interested in using this for 
your benchmarking, let me know.
