I think you have a bit old tre packages. On my centos 6.4 box has
# yum list installed|grep tre
tre.x86_64 0.8.0-1.el6.rf
@dag
tre-devel.x86_64 0.8.0-1.el6.rf
@dag
It's possible that the tre developer switched to tre/tre.h layout
in 0.8 only. So to bottomline: you have the right packages installed
they are just old. Please try to upgrade them to 0.8
