well, if an email has no To: field then it could be a problem
determining that to whom the email belongs. Is there any clue
in the email to recover the recipient(s)?

The email aliases should be no problem, however not really tested
how many sphinx can handle.

My question is, what is the function of "folder" tables ?

It was requested by a user to add a different type of classification.
It's used by the pilerimport process, and when it's turned on, then
the gui doesn't use an email filter to screen out emails that are
not yours, rather it uses this folder list, no matter whose the
given email is. This feature hasn't really been advertised. I think
most users don't need it.

Best regards,

Janos
