I have noticed a strange problem with gpilotd. Whenever I re-boot my computer
(very infrequently) gpilotd will not respond to any attempt to hotsync. I have tried
many things, but only thing that does work is starting up jpilot, letting it sync
once, then gpilotd works fine untill next re-boot. Logging out of X, and killing
everything doesnt re-create this problem, only re-booting.
I have tried exporting pilotrate, and pilotport, even though gpilot shouldnt
need it. Ran jpilot with -d option, and I cant see where it sets anything different
than I do, but that AFAIK is the only way to get it started.
If theres anything usefull that I left out, please let me know, even if you
cant help me. It will at least give me more to go on if I have to talk to the
gnome-Pilot people :)
        Thanks,
        Randall Gibson
