The pi-nredir was exactly what I was testing. I have been
successful at getting a full sync across a WAN through a port-forwarded
ssh tunnel on a non-priviledged port across a proxy with pi-nredir. This
is where it stopped short. I have to repeat it, and document how I did it,
then put in some details on the page. I stopped there because I realized I
couldn't pull all of it from memory as I was writing the HOWTO. =)

One bit at a time. I'm doing a pilot-link developer track talk at
CLIQ in a week or so, and all my time is dedicated to preparing for that
at the moment. A bunch of people in #palmchat were asking how to sync over
IR on linux, so I took the weekend, and whipped up that HOWTO there. Much
more needs to be done, surely, but it's a start.
