I checked my /proc/interrupts and assigned IRQ 10 to ttyS0 and 11 to
ttyS1. Permissions on both are set to 0666. Then tried to sync (as
root, so there would be NO permission problems):

[root@varg michael]# setserial /dev/ttyS0 irq 10
[root@varg michael]# setserial /dev/ttyS1 irq 11
[root@varg michael]# cd palm
[root@varg palm]# pilot-xfer -p /dev/ttyS0 -b .

Any suggestions on how to fix this? It seems like my ttyS1/COM2 is
broken for some reason (setserial also reports UART unknown instead of
16550A), so I reversed the modem and cradle cables (don't even known
which port is which, but with two, trial-and-error isn't too hard) and
tried again, still with no luck.
I was also going to look to find a retailer for Keyspan but I can't
get through to www.keyspan.com. Is anyone else able to? They seem to
have interesting products, but ordering from the US to Europe would
cost a fortune in postage, if it is at all possible.
Thanks in advance!
