Palm users,
Do you use screen protector sheets?
Where do you get them?
How often do you replace them?
How often do you replace batteries?
Having had past experience with touch screens, I've always used an
ablative sheet to protect the Palm's screen. When I purchased the unit,
one sheet was supplied. I tried WriteRight sheets, but found the
thickness of the material so variable that grafiti became a frustrating
experience. <deserved plug>Office Depot directed me</deserved plug>
to Kinko's. Subsequently, I have been using "touchscreen transparencies",
one of their "specialty materials". I cut them to size and attach with
static electricity. My coworkers who do not use screen protectors usually
give up grafiti (and use poking exclusively) after their first screen
replacement.
Though carried by Kinko's in Michigan, I found during recent need in
North Carolina, that they are not carried nationwide. I am consequently
looking for second source and supplier suggestions.
Do you use screen protector sheets? Yes
Where do you get them? Kinko's "touchscreen transparencies"
How often do you replace them? monthly
How often do you replace batteries? weekly
Thank you,
