Hey all — We've released Pinax 0.7.1 tonight. This release is a quick (sooner than expected) release due to an upstream security issue in Django. Django has released 1.0.4 that corrects the bug. To find out more check out http://www.djangoproject.com/weblog/2009/oct/09/security/.
Pinax ships Django 1.0.3 and it was affected. We've released 0.7.1 as soon as possible containing the fixed version of Django. There are also some minor fixes, but are by no means critical. If you don't want to upgrade all of your environments to 0.7.1 you can simply upgrade Django itself by running: pip install -U Django==1.0.4 in affected environments. This is *strongly* encouraged.
