Hello Chuck et al:

I picked up 5 different Polaroids and gutted them all. I never did finish
them, as is typical of me...I go off barking at some new project.

One I believe is a 150 and the other was I think a 100. They look nearly
identical, one brown one grey and the nice thing is (not necessary for
pinhole, but if I kept optics it would be) they both have a knob-driven
focussing rack and a lot of vintage-looking metal.

The have EV scales and I think 3-el glass optics. The shutters make an
unpleasant bouncing sound regardless of speed of operating position. They
might be usable in 'B' for PH, if I can get the glass off without trashing
the rest. I drilled out all the rivets so I could remove the backs
completely with the intent to extend the backs far enough to take a 4x5 film
holder.

The 200 series and Square Shooter were pretty unfriendly and served only to
give me some odd parts and a tour of auto-exposire electronics. Same with a
Kodak Handle...gutted it and ended up with nothing more than the
satisfaction of knowing what was in it.

Murray
