Hear this, friends of the Pinhole List! Directly from the Pinhole Vision web site:
"1st 'World Pinhole Image' Tribute to Intn'l Cooperation" --------------------------------------------------------- With the simplest of all tools - a handmade pinhole camera - eight pinhole photographers reached out to hold hands over land and sea and create the first "World Pinhole Image". Their names: Guillermo Penate, Gregg Kemp, Rosanne Stutts, Tom Miller, Ed Levinson, Zernike Au, Jean Daubas and yours truly, Guy Glorieux. Our goal was to capture the world into a single pinhole photograph. To prove that nothing is impossible, the camera nicknamed "The Flying Pinhole" camera landed back safely in Montreal on February 15, into the hands of its creator, Guy Glorieux. Inside was the negative of the first world pinhole image, a 2 1/4 x 33 inch picture capturing sights from around the planet into a continuous photograph. If you want to know more about this, go to the Flying Pinhole Camera's web site at: http://www3.sympatico.ca/guy.glorieux/flyingpinhole.htm Enjoy and have a great day! Guy Glorieux
