i use oriental and ilford papers. high quality, readily available and no 
watermark... the oriental specifically is pretty thin, and a little better for 
making positives, me thinks...

About the exhibition, i agree that nothing tops seeing the actual prints. 
digital print outs just don't compare to silver and celluloid, and the 
difference between looking at pictures in a gallery and in the "comfort of your 
own home" is ENORMOUS. last spring we had a "lensless" show (including 
photograms) here in san francisco of prints, digital material and motion films 
that went over very well, and there are gallerys here that are practically 
begging for new material. i imagine the same applies to many of the more urban 
areas right now. it would be possible i'm sure to organize that several of 
these places (in different areas) hold shows during the same month, perhaps 
even with digital links to the work show in the other locations...
