I'm agree, even if digital files could be printed on color (argentic
or chemical) paper, but the optimum resolution is about 300 dpi,
which provides a good quality print until 8X10 inches. A 8X10 inches
print will weight something like 25 Mo!!!

good idea, but the photos will look pretty bad when printed unless they're
scanned/uploaded/downloaded/printed at really high resolution (which means
big file sizes). personally, i'd rather see silver prints in a gallery than
printouts but maybe i'm just being a baby. :)

Subject: [pinhole-discussion] Combine new with old
Instead of one set of travelling photos for the exhibition, why not upload
the photos then download and print them wherever anyone wants to mount an
exhibition? Combine old school with new school. I think that format is an
artisitc expression in itself. Has there ever been a simultaneous
multi-venue photo exhibition? This could be the first and to do it with
pinhole photographs would be the ultimate in irony.
