Thanks for posting the panoramas, Jon. I'm getting interested in this idea and would like to help with it. I can offer the web space and a web application to upload the images plus information about each one into a database. For example, we would probably want to include the photographer's name, country, city or town, and a description about the photo. These would be available for viewing immediately after they are uploaded. I think a simple map of the globe marked with dots from where each person is from would be nice. One could list the photos and text by name, city, country, etc. For anyone who doesn't have access to a scanner, we would need some volunteers to scan other's photos. It would be good to have different folks to organize it, help scan, add dots (links) to a map, etc. These are just some suggestions...
