CERITA AYAM
Cerita tentang sebuah peternakan ayam, disana ada 25 ayam betina dan 1
ayam
jago (jantan) yang umurnya sudah tua sekali. Karena merasa ayam jago yang
tua tadi sudah melewati masa produktif-nya, si pemilik peternakan
memutuskan untuk membeli 1 ayam jago lagi yang masih muda. Tentu saja hal
ini membuat si Ayam jago tua menjadi merasa tersaingi.
Si Tua : Eh, kamu jangan serakah ya. Ayam betinanya kan ada 25, kamu boleh
ambil yang 15 sedang aku yang 10 ekor.
Si Muda : Tidak bisa. Kamu kan
sudah tua dan loyo, pokoknya semua buat aku
aja.
Si Tua : Kalau begitu mendingan kita lomba saja, siapa yang menang boleh
ambil semua ayam betina yang ada disini.
Si Muda : Boleh saja!, mau lomba apa ?
Si Tua : Lomba lari 100 m.
Si Muda : Ok, gak masalah
Si Tua : Tapi karena aku sudah tua, aku minta untuk lari dulu di depanmu
25m
Si Muda : Boleh (dengan penuh keyakinan).
Lomba lari dimulai. Ayam jago tua lari dulu 25 meter baru kemudian Ayam
jago yang muda lari menyusul dengan kecepatan dua kali lipat.
Eh, waktu hampir bisa nyusul ayam tua, si ayam jago muda menggelepar dan
mati seketika ditembak oleh pemilik.
Sambil memungut ayam muda tadi, si pemilik menggerutu...
"SIAL, INI AYAM JAGO-HOMO KE SEPULUH YANG AKU BELI BULAN INI. BUKAN-NYA
NGEJAR BETINA, MALAH NGEJAR AYAM JAGO TUA INI."
