Please find attached the new regulation related to fiscal policy that will be effective 1 November 2006.
The essence of this regulation, for the people who will go abroad thru Batam, they should prepare a copy of their Passport and pass it to the Fiscal Officer at the Fiscal check point, otherwise they should pay Fiscal Fee (IDR 500,000).
This regulation will be applied both to the Indonesian as well as Foreigner with KITAS.
