Please ignore my earlier enquiry, as I found the problem was that the
filepath to my imported avi's had a # symbol.

Hi,
I tried pitivi some moths back and was quite enthusiastic. that was on
Fedora, now tried it on Ubuntu 9.10 (pitivi 0.13.3) and I get import
errors. Have used dvgrab to create .avi files using the following
command:
sudo dvgrab --autosplit --format dv2 --size 0 --opendml filename-

..but import fails with message "An error occurred while importing" The
information dialog advises that the "file cannot be used with pitivi"

I can confirm that I'm not using any Fluendo codecs, just what is pretty
standard with Ubuntu.

Am I doing something wrong as it seems to me this should just work?

Thanks
Jacek
