Hello,

I'm very new to Pitivi and I have been struggling to create a DVD from
some home videos I have. The original videos are in .avi format and I
can import them to Pitivi without a problem. I have been successful in
rendering my project in ogg format, but only in that format. When I try
to save with MPEG settings for a DVD video, nothing happens.
Unfortunately, I'm not sure that I have the right combination of
settings. I looked at the manual and it provided little information
about rendering. All it says is "Adjust the various encoding settings...
Click the render button."

I did read the rendering issue on the manual and I did move the playhead
but that didn't make a difference. I'm running Ubuntu 10.04 and I have
Pitivi 0.13.4.

The settings I'm trying to use to render the video are:

Video: 480p (NTSC DV/DVD) 29.97 fps
Audio: Stereo 48 KHz 16 bit
Export to:
Container: FFmpeg MPEG-2 PS format (DVD VOB) muxer [ffmux_dvd]
Audio Codec: TwoLAME mp2 encoder [twolame]
Video Codec: mpeg2enc video encoder [mpeg2enc]

I would greatly appreciate any suggestions.

Kind regards,

Juan
