On fedora, here's what you could do:
1- activate the rpmfusion repos: http://rpmfusion.org/Configuration
2- make sure yum-utils is installed
3- yum-builddep pitivi
4- install remaining gstreamer packages if needed (but the command in
the third step should take care of pretty much everything)
