Hi Folks,

I know it's been an eternity since I've posted...many reasons why not, but I do read all the posts coming through and keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.

I went back to Vanderbilt this last week to see Dr. Blevins for my latest post surgery checkup. I had an MRI of my pituitary and a CT scan of my adrenals. Both tests came out as good as it gets! No sign of residual or regrowth on the pituitary and no enlargement of the adrenal tumor. I am just 2 weeks away from one year out from my second pit surgery for a non-secreting pit tumor that had all but obliterated my pituitary. I am panhypopit, diabetic and hypothyroid, but, I am doing very well. I do have those moments of shear exhaustion, but I can get through an 8 hour (or longer) work day before I poop out. The weekends, though, I can just totally crash! But, then, by Monday I can do it all over again. My thinking processes are so much clearer than they have been in literally years. My strength and stamina aren't so hot, but maybe with time (and a little forced exercise!*L*) that, too will improve. I am on hormone replacement therapy, along with several vitamins and minerals, but I can live with swallowing "a few" pills and taking a shot once a day, I think.

Wishing you all happy and healthy holidays,
Charlie
