Hi everyone! Three weeks ago I had done some blood work and my prolactin was 196. My doctor increased the dose of bromo to 4x daily. Well last friday, i had some more blood work and my level was 123.  My doctor had stated that he would like to increase my dosage to 5x daily because it seems that my  prolactin tumor was resistant to the meds. So now next week he wants me to go and take what is called a cortrosyn stimulation test. He also mentioned that if infact my tumor is resistant, it may be something I would have to deal with for the rest of my life, being that i am only 18 and he wouldn't like to do the surgery.  So if anyone knows what a cortrosyn test is all about and if the resisting of meds has ever happened to them, I would really like to know.  Also, my doctor also mentioned about testing my adrenal gland. Does anyone know what any of this is? Please I need more info!
