please be advised docs recommed radiation on recurrents. thats what i had. im on a 10 year followup to check for regrowth.
if this tumor is allowed to regrow it will cause even more damage to the glad. mine was almost totally destroyed!!!
if u have had more than 1 operation chances are the glad has been seriously damaged anyway. also regrowth usually means the tumor is non-harmone producing.
the after affects of this surgery are very unpleasent. recop time can take months. also this surgery is with risk. loss of spinal cord fluid is a given. this is a surgeons MAIN CONCERN."
I didn't know if you had joined as a member yet or not. I wanted to welcome you to the boards! I do have pitutiary disease... a bit of an acth/cortisol issue (unfortunately).
