I don't know which person I'm talking to but I had a non-functioning tumor and went through alot before it was removed. I'm still sick but not like before surgery. I went to M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston this past August and went back in Sept. These doctors act like you just have to cross the road to get there. I am from Ok. I did not find out anything from the pituitary endo. Yuk! But I did go to a neuro that looked at all my MRI's while I was there. I found out my tumor had hemorraged long before it was taken out. I don't know if I had bad doctors or radiolist but I think it was the radiolist. I haven't went back to my endo abolute 50 miles away since June or July. I called today and ask him if I could have GHD. Some of my signs are linked to it. He is going to run the test now. He told me the meds. were around 30,000.00 dollars a year. I ask him if my insurance would cover it. He said some don't. He will send a PA. Of course I don't know if that is what it is but its a start. I went to Houston because I was told by The Pituitary Network they had Pituitary Endocrinolists there and there is none in OK. But that was a mistake. I will just have to go with my endo here in OK. and wish for the best. Wish me luck.
