Hi Annie, I am also 24 and I have a hyperprolactinemia. I also have been concerned about my doctor's knowledge about pit adenomas. I found that my doctor made it seems like not a big deal and it really scared me that she would treat me this way. I started to read about it on my own and found litterature on what actions needed to be taken. I then went into her office and asked for follow-up blood work, MRI and requested to see an Endo. Since I have seen the endo, I feel better but I am still worried because all my symptoms are still there. My endo did said that I needed to get my hormone levels back to normal because I could have osteoporosis by the age of 30! good luck Eve |
