Hi I am a 26 years old and just had baby number 3. My thyroid started going out of wack about 6 years after my first baby. I was put on synthroid and a couple of months later they took me off and my thyroid was better. A few years later same symptoms came back and got tested again and it out os control again, so back on meds again. Same thing happened after i had #2, I was put on meds and took off them in a 3 month period and then boom i was pregnant again. I stayed on my meds throughout the pregnancy I was on .150mg. After i had the baby back in november my thyroid did the opposite and went hyperactive. After seeing a doctor in Halifax he took me off all meds and said he probably would not see me again because he thought i had thyroid problem from pegnancy. Well back to my doc i went and she did test and it determined that i was hypothyroid. I called my doctor in Halifax and he said the same thing. So know I am .75mg and do not know if i am coming or going. If anyone knows anything on this issue please write back.
