I hate the heavy periods that come with the bromo and I don't want to take any other kinds of pills while I am trying to kill this tumor.  I talked to my GP just the other day about it.  I want to have the thermal balloon burning of the uterus done.  My sister in law had it and doesn't have periods any more, maybe just some spotting.  The only downfall with that is if they do a pap or biopsy the seared cells come back as irregular and they always have to check them for cancer.  Although this hasn't happened to my sister in law and she has had it for several years.  My GP recommends a partial historectomy (where they leave the ovaries)   if I can't deal with the bleeding.  He said "don't worry, you won't bleed to death."  DUH!  It is just painful and as you know very messy at times.   I don't feel I am ready for a partial historectomy. So......I am going to piss him off and find a gyno who will do it since he won't recommend one.  :)
