Clairarose, Hello I am also 33 and a mother of 3 natural children and one step-child. I too had problems with weight gain I have gained over 100 pounds in 3 years. YUCK!!! All of my blood work came back fine except my blood sugar it is extremely low! The Endo doc told me I needed help with the weight loss because I have empty sella syndrome and it makes the hormone that conrtols the weight to go haywhire and your body doesn't know what to do. So he put me on weight loss pills so I will not become a diabetic. I just started them but I can now function like I am 33 and not 63, my ankles, knees, hips, elbows and wrists hurt so bad last week I could not walk a block , this week I am getting around with no pain the pills don't make me speedy they just allow me to act my age. I feel like I used to and as far as the sight. I don't know what happend well I do it was alot of prayer I am sure but I have not had the servere headachs since winter nor the blurred vision. I am doing well with my Photography business and have 4 Weddings on the works for this summer and have entered photos into the local Fair Not to alarm you but please get to the Endo doctor as soon as possible so you know what is going on ( it is the not knowing that is the worst ) I was scared to death when I first found out I had a putitary enlargement and then to find out it was Empty-Sella Syndrome at that but it was alot easier to handle once I knew what the battle was that I had to fight and everyday I start all over again with a possitive outlook on life. The best thing to do is find something that you love with a passion and throw yourself into it with everything you have and soon you will find that the pain will decrease alot. Not that it still won't be there but your energy will be better spent being possitive. That is what I have found with my Photography I am even a better Photographer now than I was before the doctor told me what was wrong, God helps my see everyday what I may not have for very long but since I have been doing my Photography again he has given me a new and better sight to what I am to do because I could lose it at any time and I don't want to waste one minute wandering what might have been when or if the time comes that I would lose my sight .People are going to know my work through God's eyes now. I am going to put a Portrait of a little girl that I took a picture through his eyes and you tell me who is in charge.... Shelly |
