Hi Charlane from LA:
I also have Empty Sella Syndrome and take hormones, including growth
hormone. I take it via the Genotropin Mini-quick system. I was tested and
diagnosed as hypopit and growth hormone deficient in May of 2000. Since
then it has been a kind of roller coaster as I've had to get my hormones
adjusted and readjusted. Unfortunately for me, there is no doctor in my
town who knows anything about the pituitary gland, so I go all the way to
Boston to get treated. It takes two days by car to go up and 2 hours back.
However, it gives me a chance to see Boston which is a really wonderful
city. Please feel free to ask me any questions you may have about this
disorder that we share. I'll try to answer as best I can.
