Hell-o All. The news just came in I am leaving for Portland on Sept. 11th. I have appointment with Dr. E Frank & Dr. Lou. My appt. is at the VA . Dr. Frank & Dr. Lou on staff with the Pituitary Unit at OHSU and have privileges at the VA. I was very lucky to pull off this one with the help of my Son-in-law Bruce. He has also arranged for me to me with the Neurosurgery Staff at OHSU. It has been a little over 2 1/2 years since my first neurosurgery for my macroadenoma - It started a regrowth a few months ago and I am going to go see what my options will be. I wish it did not come back - you think that once would be enough and all. At this time it is only a microadenoma- maybe they can zap it!!! I hope all the rest of you are doing good. Does anyone in this room leave in the Portland Area??? I will be staying with my daughter & husband for the week but would love to meet another person who has the same condition and maybe meet over coffee for talk and support.
