Irregardless of the cause that resulted
in the loss of your pituitary hormones, (even if 18 years ago), you need an endo
TODAY that will look at your entire clinical picture. Many endos are not
skilled with handling hypopituitary patients, and there may be some doctor
shopping involved to find one who can fully adjust the replacements over time.
The thing is, the pituitary is involved
in so many processes, many that science is just now beginning to understand,
that disruption in that process can lead to regulation disruption in the
endorphins, pain regulation, temperature control, weight control, mood, and
memory to name a few. I was amazed to learn that the pituitary is involved with
over 1000 amino acid chains which are responsible for so much more than what we
typically consider, or what we are typically told.
