Wow Kathy, what a scary story! Carla, see if there is a way they can allergy test you first if they insist on a cantrast. I know there is an issues with prolactin levels over 100 or 200 being prolactinomas or not. There are several arguements on the boards. Mine is considered a prolactinoma by 2 different docs and my prolactin runs high 60's at the highest so far. Hopefully you will the right doctor who will give you the right diagnosis. All of your bodies and our tumors are different.
