Chris,
Don't feel bad about taking something that makes you feel better and funtion as you should.  My dad takes wellbutron (sp) and that has been a God send for our family.  He feels and functions sooooo much better than with out anything.  I have other friends that are the same way.  I totally agree with Minnie, some docs give it to you as a 'cure all.'  I guess they figure a 'happy pill' will make you forget you are sick or if they think something is all in your head. (I guess with a pi tumor it is, HA!). Anyway, depression is a disease in itself.  I have lived my entire life with someone who has battled it and it is about as complicated as a tumor on some days.  For some it comes and goes and others deal with it their entire lives.  As someone who has seen it first hand and what it can do to a person I am all for medication for depression/anxiety if it is truely needed.   You know what is best for you, go with your heart and you will be ok!
