I am in much of the same boat with you.  I have a prolactinoma (no known cause - - is there ever a known cause?) diagnosed in Fall of 1994.

Tumor-boy,

I think Charlie said that she has idiopathic hyperprolactinemia NOT a prolactinoma.  This mean she has elevated prolactin with no known cause.

Charlie,

I too have idiopathic hyperprolactinemia.  I have taken both bromo and dostinex.  For the first few days I felt nauseated somewhat and I got a stuffy nose after each dose.  I am farely tolerant to side effects of meds and mine only lasted a few days.  Now I am fine when I take them.
Also, after two months I was well within normal prolactin range and have remained so ever since (still taking the meds).  This has been only 5 months now.  I am also TTC so hoping this does the trick!

Sarah
