FaunaLeigh, I don't know if this question is for me or not but here we go. There are different kinds of pit tumors that produce different hormones. I know there are some on here who believe that if your readings are that low it is something else. I have seen 3 doctors and have had a million test. Been to OHSU which is one of the best in the country and yes, that is what I have is a prolactinoma. I had an MRI in August and the guy who read it here where I live said I am down to about 5mm. I guess it is hard to tell 5 from 7 but at least it didn't look bigger. I feel fine on the bromo and monthly cycles are normal. So I will continue to be pill popper probably forever. If my tumor ever disappears I will stop for awhile and see what happens. I quit them before and everything went up again so I will only quit when they don't see a tumor anymore. Anyway......I am rattling more than I wanted. I guess what I want to say is we are all different and our bodies all react different to our tumors and our hormones. Be sure you have a doctor you trust and can talk to and vent too. My level was 68 when I was first diagnosed but I went a lot of years untreated because I didn't know what I had. I could tell you my whole story but is long. You can email anytime at [EMAIL PROTECTED] . good luck, Keri |
