Hi Melissa!

I just wanted to congratulate you! That is pretty impressive that your prolactin levels have dropped from 1504 to 12! Are you doing the happy dance? If not... I will for you - lol.

Wow... hard question...

"After seeing my level go up in the second month I was wondering how likely my level will go up again on the 5 mgs after now being normal?"

We have talked about the fluctuation of prolactin levels even on treatment. I think your doctor is really wise to tell you to notify him if you notice any changes I know you are scared that it will go up again.  I think it is one of those back of the mind whispers.

It is good though that you are seeing positive changes. All I can suggest is that you continue looking for the positives in life.

At work, we had to do this crazy exercise (looking at the positives in life), where we picked an inanimate object at home and in an journal wrote something nice about it. For 2 weeks, we had to write entries about this object. I never knew I had so much nice things I could write about this mirror my grandmother gave me (one of those fishbowl federal mirrors). The lesson was to look at other things the same way... look at the positives and the positives will reflect and magnify, intensify, and bend in new directions... just like my fisbowl concave 60 year old mirror.

Hope this helps.

Minnie
