minnie and sharon, thanks both of you for the info. Minnie i find it so amazing how when we have a certain medical condition we can become so knowledgeable about something that 5 or 10 years ago we would have had no idea about. personally a year ago i couldnt have even pointed to where my pituitary gald was. i say this because what you typed was almost word for word what i had heard from my endo. The adenoma is non functioning and has slightly splayed the optic nerve but has had no effect yet on my eyesight according to my most recent vision field test, thank god. Unless it does then i am inclined to just monitor it for now. My gut feeling however is that this period of time right now is just a respite. Like a volcano that has gone dormant for a bit. Hopefully i am wrong. which ever it is i plan to enjoy this bit of time away from having to take med twice a day. I know how lucky i am in that. Sharon i will keep you in my thoughts, keep us posted... pete
