Hi,
I had my pituitary completely removed when I was 11, so I've relied on medication ever since (I'm now 35). I've tried various forms of testesterone and hcg over the years. The main advantage to hcg is that you are replacing the hormones produced by the pit. gland, as opposed to the end product (testesterone). Thus, taking hcg makes you fertile because sperm is produced, plus you produce your own testesterone as well. I came off hcg when I was about 20 and went back on to just testesterone  - however this left me infertile because the sperm cells are not stimulated and therfore become dormant, so bear that in mind too.
Have a look at my website for more info.
All the best,
Andy (www.gentlegiant.co.uk)
